I wrote a feature on Thomas Rawls earlier this year, because I projected the rookie out of Central Michigan as a potential starter for the Seattle Seahawks one day. With 30-year old Marshawn Lynch and 34-year old Fred Jackson in front of him, age and attrition are working in his favor. While I imagine the Seahawks would draft a high-round RB to replace Lynch, I believe the troubled Rawls is likely to get a chance to impress with the Seahawks, due to the injury concerns over the other two players
That has largely played out, as Thomas Rawls has been one of the few 3rd-string running backs to have been a fantasy football factor in the first 7 weeks of the season. I consider him a dynasty league stash with upside, but it’s always nice when a player immediately pays off for what small investment you make in their future.
